Harry Kane lauds Tottenham Hotspur performance against West Ham United

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane expresses his delight after scoring two late goals to turn a 2-1 defeat into a 3-2 victory against London rivals West Ham United.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has talked up his side's performance during their 3-2 victory over West Ham United this evening.

Kane scored two goals in the dying stages at White Hart Lane to dramatically grab victory from the jaws of defeat against their London rivals.

Spurs will now turn their attention to a crucial Champions League clash with AS Monaco on Tuesday, and Kane believes it is important to go into that "must-win game" off the back of a victory.

"What a win, it looked like it would be a disappointing afternoon. I thought we had played well and we left it late, what a night, what a performance," he told reporters.

"We wanted to win and give the fans something to cheer about and a lot of them will go home happy.

"It is an important week and we didn't want to go into that game having lost the first one. It is a must-win game, we're excited, we'll train tomorrow and travel on Monday."

The victory also means that Tottenham remain unbeaten in the Premier League after 12 games this season.
