Harry Kane has declared that he is hoping to continue from where he left off last season and become a "club legend" at Tottenham Hotspur.
The England international enjoyed a stellar personal campaign in 2014-15, scoring 31 goals on his way to being crowned PFA Young Player of the Year.
Kane admits that he now faces pressure trying to sustain that goalscoring form this campaign, but he believes he has the ability to write his name in Spurs folklore.
"Fans are excited to see whether I can do it again - and I am excited to see if I can," he told The Telegraph. "I was a fan myself and I know what it's like.
"If someone comes out of the blocks and scores 31 goals in one season then you think 'ok, was that a one-off or will he do it again?' I have a lot of self-belief and I think it will happen. I think I will just get better and better. It's what great players do, they don't let up on anything. And I wouldn't do that anyway.
"I want to become a club legend. You are always going to face pressure in football. But I'm very strong-minded and I know what I want to achieve and taking that number 10 shirt was just another part of that."
Kane failed to get off the mark in Tottenham's Premier League opener against Manchester United, but he is expected to start against Stoke City this weekend.
