Christian Eriksen: 'Win will provide huge confidence boost'

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen feels that his side's victory over Hull City will give them momentum in their upcoming fixtures in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has expressed his belief that his side's dramatic win over Hull City will give them a confidence boost for their upcoming fixtures.

Spurs bounced back from their defeat to Stoke City with the victory over the Tigers, despite falling behind to a strike from former player Jake Livermore as Harry Kane and Eriksen fired Mauricio Pochettino's to the three points.

"That gave us a bit a confidence for our next games. In the second half we played very well," Eriksen told Sky Sports News. "In the first half we started slow and they were quicker than we were.

"In the second half we played well, forward and attacking, and of course we played well against 10 men and it gave us more space."

Tottenham moved to 10th in the Premier League with their victory over Steve Bruce's side.
