Christian Eriksen has praised Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood, stating that he has helped him to attain his current run of good form.

Eriksen has been the hero for Spurs in a number of matches of late, with the Danish midfielder starring in Tottenham's 3-1 victory over Fulham this afternoon.

"He [Sherwood] allowed me to play and improve and just show what I'm capable on the pitch," said Eriksen, according to talkSPORT.

"He saw that straight away when he came in and I'm really happy to be playing.

"I feel like I'm on my way to playing the best football of my career. I'm happy with where I am and hopefully I'll keep getting better."

Spurs currently hold sixth position in the Premier League table on 63 points.
