Michael Dawson is anticipating a tricky encounter against Jamaica in the Bahamas.

Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Michael Dawson has urged his teammates to forget the match against Jamaica is a friendly and to do all they can to get the win.

Spurs travel to the Bahamas to face Jamaica in the early hours of Friday morning and Dawson said that despite it being the end of the season the match will be "tough".

"Jamaica have big games coming up and it will be a tough match, we'll have to be prepared and ready to play," Dawson told the club's official website.

"When you put the shirt on and step over the white line, you want to win. Yes, it's the end of the season and we're more relaxed, but we have a game to play and we'll look to win it."

The match kicks off at 1am GMT.
