Mario Balotelli: I didn't feel the pressure

Mario Balotelli insists he was not feeling any pressure before he scored the winning penalty in Manchester City's win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Mario Balotelli has insisted that he was not feeling any pressure when he stepped up to score the winning penalty in Manchester City's 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.

The Italian striker to converted a stoppage-time spot kick after he was brought down in the box by Spurs captain Ledley King.

"I felt no pressure [taking the penalty], nothing. I was calm, like every time I shoot a penalty," he said.

"Until the goalkeeper gets his hands on one then fine, but yet I have not missed one."

Balotelli was arguably fortunate to be on the pitch after he appeared to stamp on the head of Spurs midfielder Scott Parker.
