Gabriel Agbonlahor: 'It will be tough to beat Tottenham Hotspur

Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor admits that they face a "really tough game" against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Gabriel Agbonlahor has admitted that it will be "tough" for Aston Villa to end their run of defeats against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

After a strong start to the season, Paul Lambert's side have lost their last five matches without scoring to drop to within just two points of the Premier League relegation places.

Agbonlahor told the Birmingham Mail: "Spurs are a quality side. If you look at their team and the money they have spent, it's crazy.

"Look at the strength in depth and players they have on the bench. We are not going to kid ourselves and think it's easy. It's going to be a really tough game.

"We have played a lot of tough games but it's still not a nice record to have. So we will be giving everything we have got to put it right against Spurs."

The 28-year-old forward recently signed a four-year contract extension with his boyhood club.
