Norwich City manager Chris Hughton believes that it will be tough for the Canaries to halt Tottenham Hotspur's "consistency" when they welcome Spurs to Carrow Road in the League Cup tie tonight.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton believes that "fabulous" Tottenham Hotspur will be a challenge to overcome.

The Premier League pair go head to head for a place in the quarter-finals of the League Cup this evening and the former Birmingham City boss has claimed that his team need to find a way to stop the North London side's "quality".

"Tottenham are a wonderful club that play a fabulous brand of football," said Hughton. "They're in great form and have been finding greater consistency.

"We don't know what side they will put out and they're perhaps in a different place now compared to then. Their season is going well now. They have a lot of quality in the team."

Meanwhile, Spurs forward Clint Dempsey is confident that his side can get a result against the Canaries at Carrow Road.
