Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Alex Pritchard will not be available for the rest of 2015 after undergoing surgery on his right ankle.
The 22-year-old suffered the injury while playing in the England Under-21s' 1-0 victory over Sweden U21s during the European Championships in June.
Pritchard, who has made two senior appearances for Spurs since joining from West Ham United in 2009, recently had an operation to fix the problem, but the club have confirmed that he will not return to training until January.
During Pritchard's time at Tottenham, the midfielder has had loan spells at Peterborough United, Swindon Town and Brentford.
