Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Tottenham injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur will aim to snap a two-game winless run in the Premier League when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.

Antonio Conte's men opened the New Year in disappointing fashion with a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa, as Emiliano Buendia and Douglas Luiz found the back of the net in North London.

Spurs missed the chance to break back into the top four of the table and lie fifth as things stand - two points behind Manchester United having played a game more.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the showdown with Palace, who eased past Bournemouth 2-0 in their last outing.

Dejan Kulusevski

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Muscular Possible return date: January 4 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Dejan Kulusevski was a surprise omission from the squad to face Villa, having been seen arriving with his teammates, and it soon emerged that the Swedish attacker was nursing a muscular problem. Kulusevski's issue is not thought to be serious, but he is facing a race against time to be fit for this London derby.

Richarlison

Status: Out Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: January 23 (vs. Fulham)

Richarlison is slowly working his way back from the thigh injury he sustained while representing Brazil at the World Cup, and the striker is expected to remain out for another three weeks still.

Rodrigo Bentancur

Status: Out Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: Unknown

Rodrigo Bentancur has required further scans on the groin injury he picked up at the World Cup, and while the results of his latest MRI have not yet been disclosed, he remains unavailable here.

Lucas Moura

Status: Out Type of injury: Tendon Possible return date: Unknown

Lucas Moura has been plagued by a tendon injury for months, and even though he has managed to make sporadic appearances this season, the Brazilian is currently out of action as he works to find a permanent solution to the problem.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Yves Bissouma

Return date: January 7 (vs. Portsmouth)

Midfielder Yves Bissouma picked up his fifth Premier League yellow card of the season in the defeat to Villa, and the Mali international will serve a one-match suspension on Wednesday.
