Tottenham Hotspur injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur continue their bid for Champions League qualification when they meet Premier League title contenders Liverpool on Saturday evening.

On the back of two games without success, Spurs returned to form last time out, posting a much-needed 3-1 victory over Leicester City in North London.

Ahead of the weekend's matches, Antonio Conte's side sit two points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal, heaping the pressure on his players heading into this encounter.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with their relentless Merseyside opponents.

Japhet Tanganga

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Japhet Tanganga continues to recover from a knee operation that he underwent back in March and is one of three Spurs players who will not play again this season.

Oliver Skipp

Status: Out Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: Unknown

Having struggled with a groin injury and subsequent infection since January, Oliver Skipp recently underwent surgery in America to treat the issue and will also miss the remainder of the campaign.

Matt Doherty

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Right-back Matt Doherty suffered a serious knee injury in the win over Aston Villa earlier in March and is keeping Skipp and Tanganga company in the treatment room for the long term.

Sergio Reguilon

Status: Out Type of injury: Groin Possible return date: Unknown

Conte suggested at the back end of last week that he was not prepared to take any risks on Sergio Reguilon when he is suffering from groin pain. While the Spaniard may have improved since then, it appears highly unlikely that he will be considered for selection.
