Tottenham injury, suspension list and return dates for Aston Villa: Dejan Kulusevski latest

Kulusevski update: Spurs injury, suspension list for Aston Villa clash

Tottenham Hotspur are back in action on Friday night when they square off against Aston Villa in the Premier League.

While Ange Postecoglou and his squad have a Europa League final to be excited about, Sunday's defeat to Crystal Palace made it five matches without success in the top flight.

Sitting in 17th position in the table, Spurs are at risk of suffering embarrassment given the stature of their club, and the North Londoners are expected to be missing another attack-minded player for this contest.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Spurs' latest injury and suspension news ahead of their trip to the West Midlands.

Radu Dragusin

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Romanian defender Radu Dragusin went under the knife in the middle of February to correct a severe ACL injury, one that could keep him on the sidelines until 2026.

Dejan Kulusevski

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Dejan Kulusevski sustained a knee issue during the early stages of the Crystal Palace fixture that led to his substitution. While Postecoglou had initially suggested that it was only a knock, the Sweden international has now undergone surgery in the injury.

James Maddison

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

The knee injury that James Maddison suffered in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final with Bodo/Glimt proved to be serious, and the England international is now out for the rest of the season.

Lucas Bergvall

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

The third and final member of Spurs' season-ending injuries club, Lucas Bergvall sustained a nasty ankle problem in training and will spend the next couple of months rehabilitating.
