Tottenham Hotspur injury, suspension list vs. Leicester City

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Leicester

Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action against Leicester City this weekend looking to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to four matches.

While Mauricio Pochettino's side have not necessarily performed to their best since the beginning of the campaign, a 4-0 triumph against Crystal Palace has left the North Londoners in third place in the top-flight standings.

However, Pochettino has admitted that he was unhappy with how his team played in the 2-2 draw against Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at Spurs' injury and suspension news ahead of the trip to the King Power Stadium.

Juan Foyth

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Having sustained an ankle injury during pre-season, Juan Foyth has played no part of the club's opening fixtures this campaign. It remains unclear when the Argentine will return to action.

Giovani Lo Celso

Status: Out Type of injury: Hip Possible return date: Unknown

Giovani Lo Celso sustained a hip injury while on international duty with Argentina, which has subsequently sidelined the playmaker until the end of October. However, having also missed much of pre-season, it would come as a surprise if the Real Betis loanee is back in action before the November international break.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Ryan Sessegnon arrived at Spurs in August while nursing a hamstring problem. The left-sided player had been on course to make an appearance in the squad this week, but it has been revealed that the Englishman has suffered a setback in his recovery.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for the showdown in the East Midlands.
