Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bayern Munich

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to win back-to-back matches for the first time since April when they welcome German giants Bayern Munich to North London on Tuesday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's side blew a two-goal lead to draw with Olympiacos in their Group B opener, sparking a poor run of form which also saw them beaten by Leicester City and Colchester United.

However, they returned to winning ways against Southampton on Saturday despite being reduced to 10 men and will now look to build on that gutsy triumph at home to a Bayern side that won their opening Champions League game 3-0.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Giovani Lo Celso

Status: Out Type of injury: Hip Possible return date: November 3 (vs. Everton)

Lo Celso is still yet to make his first start for Spurs and will likely have to wait until November at the earliest to do so after picking up a hip injury on international duty with Argentina.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: Unknown

Another player whose Spurs career has not really yet begun, Ryan Sessegnon is yet to feature since his summer arrival and earlier this month suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring problem. The severity of the problem has not yet been revealed by the club, but he is highly unlikely to feature on Tuesday night.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for this game, with Serge Aurier's red card at the weekend only applying to domestic matches.
