Europa League roundup: Tottenham Hotspur held to draw by AS Monaco

Sports Mole rounds up the Europa League's early kickoff games, including Tottenham Hotspur's trip to AS Monaco.

Tottenham Hotspur have secured a 1-1 draw against AS Monaco in their Europa League Group J clash at Stade Louis II.

Erik Lamela put the Premier League side in the lead in the 35th minute, but AC Milan loanee Stephan El Shaarawy helped the French outfit to a point with just nine minutes left to play.

Elsewhere in Group J, Qarabag FK shocked Anderlecht with a 1-0 win at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium, Richard Almeida bagging the winner in the 36th minute.

Group L saw Partizan earn a 3-1 win at Augsburg thanks to an Andrija Zivkovic brace either side of Fabricio's 54th-minute strike, with Raul Bobadilla's goal four minutes later proving little more than a consolation, while Athletic Bilbao crashed to a 2-1 defeat away at AZ.

Sparta Prague secured a straightforward 2-0 win at APOEL in Group K, while Franco Di Santo netted an emphatic hat-trick as Schalke 04 thrashed Asteras Tripolis 4-0 at the Veltins-Arena.

Fiorentina left Belenenses tattered and torn in front of their own fans thanks to a 4-0 win at the Estadio do Restelo in Group I, with the latter two goals coming in the last seven minutes of the tie, while Basel clinched a clinical 2-0 win over Lech Poznan.

Group H saw Lokomotiv Moscow secure a 2-0 home win against Skenderbeu Korce, while in the other game of the group Gokhan Tore helped Besiktas to a 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon.
