Inter Milan confirm that Antonio Cassano will return to the squad after missing today's win at Catania because of a training ground bust-up.

Antonio Cassano will return to the Inter Milan squad for their Europa League match against Tottenham Hotspur this week.

The Italian forward was left out of Inter's win at Catania following a training ground bust-up with his coach Andrea Stramaccioni.

Inter director Piero Ausilio has revealed that the player understands what he has done wrong and will return to the squad immediately.

"Antonio knows he's made a mistake and now understands the stance the coach and the club have taken," Ausilio told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Tomorrow the entire squad, including Antonio, will meet up at Appiano to train and prepare in the best way possible for the game on Thursday."

Inter coach Stramaccioni echoed that sentiment.

"From now until the end of the season we'll need the help of everyone, and that includes Cassano," he said.

The win over Catania took Inter above Lazio into fourth in Serie A.
