However, Tottenham flaunted their powers of recovery in Sunday's Premier League showdown with Bournemouth, fighting back from a two-goal deficit to hold the European-chasing Cherries to a 2-2 draw.

Dejan Kulusevski is the latest big name to enter the Tottenham treatment room with a foot injury, and Postecoglou has admitted that he does not expect the Swede to return this side of the international break.

In addition, Yves Bissouma and Bergvall are both on two yellow cards and will miss the first leg of any potential quarter-final if they are booked this week.
