Spain complete first training session as 23-man squad

European and world champions Spain complete their first training session as a 23-man squad.

European and world champions Spain completed their first training session as a 23-man squad on Monday.

La Roja boss Vicente del Bosque initially named a 30-man squad for this summer's competition, but cut that number by seven following Friday's 2-0 friendly win over Bolivia.

Those selected were put through their paces earlier this afternoon, with the squad now due to travel to the USA to make their final preparations for the tournament in Brazil.

Spain face El Salvador in Washington on Saturday before opening their Group B campaign against Netherlands on June 13.
