Tadanari Lee joins FC Tokyo on loan

Southampton striker Tadanari Lee has rejoined his former club FC Tokyo on loan until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old moved to the Saints at the beginning of 2012 from Sanfrecce Hiroshima but he has failed to make an impact at the St Mary's Stadium.

The Japanese international's attempts to hold down a regular place in the Southampton squad have also been hampered by injury and he has now returned to Tokyo, where he began his career in 2004.

Lee's last goal for Southampton came during their Capital One Cup tie with Stevenage back in August.
