Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Southampton could line up for Sunday's Premier League fixture with West Ham United.

Southampton travel to West Ham United on Sunday afternoon looking to end the 2020-21 Premier League campaign with three wins from four matches.

Ralph Hasenhuttl has been inconsistent since the turn of the year, but victories over Crystal Palace and Fulham have given the Saints a chance of finishing in 12th position.

However, Hasenhuttl has revealed that Che Adams will miss out with the groin injury which he sustained during the defeat against Leeds United earlier this week.

While the game time of Danny Ings has been restricted of late, the England international should partner Nathan Tella in attack.

Oriol Romeu is expected to be involved after injury with the Spanish midfielder an alternative to Stuart Armstrong.

Having featured as a substitute last time out, Nathan Redmond should replace either Theo Walcott or Moussa Djenepo on one of the flanks.

With Jan Bednarek back in contention, Jack Stephens or Mohammed Salisu are likely to drop down to the substitutes' bench.

Michael Obafemi will hope for an appearance in the second half with injury restricting him to just 51 minutes of top-flight action this season.

Southampton possible starting XI: McCarthy; Walker-Peters, Bednarek, Vestergaard, Stephens; Walcott, Armstrong, Ward-Prowse, Redmond; Ings, Tella
