Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana has claimed that he "learned a lot" from spending time with the England squad.
The 25-year-old made his senior debut during last week's loss to Chile before appearing in Tuesday night's defeat against Germany.
Despite disappointing results in both fixtures, Lallana insists that he will be able to take plenty of experience back with him to the Saints.
"I feel that I've learned a lot from these last two games – a lot about international football and what it's about – so I'll take a lot back to my club with me," he told Southampton's official website.
"I've learned a tremendous amount and it's where I want to be playing so it's given me even more drive to go back to my club and keep trying every week. I'm desperate to be involved in the next squad and get to Brazil."
Southampton are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they make the trip to leaders Arsenal.
