Southampton are reportedly considering a swoop for Lens manager Will Still, with Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl also an option for the Saints.

Southampton have reportedly added Will Still to their list of potential new managers ahead of next season.

The Saints are looking for a fresh face in the dugout following the dismissal of Ivan Juric at the beginning of this week following a torrid spell on the South coast.

Replacing former boss Russell Martin at St Mary's, the Croatian won just two of his 16 matches in charge, losing on a staggering 13 occasions.

After losing 3-1 in North London to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, Southampton have now suffered the earliest relegation in Premier League history.

The Saints have already commenced their search for a new boss, with Sheffield Wednesday man Danny Rohl supposedly regarded as a top option.

Still in contention for Southampton gig?

According to talkSPORT, Southampton are casting their net across the English Channel as they aim to appoint a permanent successor of Juric.

The report claims that the Saints have added Still to a list of potential arrivals at St Mary's ahead of the 2025-26 Championship campaign.

It is understood that Still rejected the summer advances of second-tier Sunderland, who went on to appoint Regis Le Bris from relegated Lorient.

As well as the 32-year-old, Sheffield Wednesday boss Rohl is named by the report as an option for Southampton, although the German is said to be wanted by a number of Bundesliga clubs, including RB Leipzig.

The Saints have five more games to endure of a painful Premier League term, with the first of those arriving on Saturday, when Aston Villa visit the South coast.

Who is Will Still?

Highlighting the speed of Still's rise to the top flight of football management, the head coach did not even possess a UEFA A Coaching License during the early days in charge of Reims.

The 32-year-old moved across Ligue 1 battlelines to Lens over the summer, when the club dropped out of the continental picture at the Conference League playoff round.

Since then, Still has been forced to deal with a number of high-profile departures from his Lens squad, including the sale of Leny Yoro to Manchester United for £52m.
