Southampton goalkeeper Artur Boruc accused of altercation with supporters

Adkins "unaware" of Boruc incident

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has insisted that he was completely unaware of an incident involving goalkeeper Artur Boruc and the club's supporters.

The Polish shot-stopper is alleged to have thrown a bottle of water, which landed among fans, after facing criticism from supporters for conceding two goals in Tottenham Hotspur's victory over the Saints yesterday.

"I am totally unaware of it," the Daily Echo quotes Adkins as saying. "I am not aware of any incident going on."

Boruc signed for the former Championship club this year.
