Sheffield Wednesday want Robbie Fowler

Sheffield Wednesday reportedly want former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler to help with their League One promotion push.

The 36-year-old recently turned down a deal to join Blackpool after they were thought to have offered him around £100 per week.

Manager Dave Jones is now considering a deal for the 36-year-old until the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.

Fowler played under Jones during a brief spell with Cardiff City in 2007.
