Sheffield Wednesday sign Danny Mayor from Preston North End

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Danny Mayor from Preston North End for an undisclosed fee.

The winger has signed a three-year deal at Hillsborough and manager Dave Jones has revealed that he believes the player will fit in well at the Championship club.

Jones told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He's a young player and I think he will fit in well with what we are trying to build here."

Mayor made 44 appearances for Preston last season.
