Sheffield Wednesday will offer teenage starlet Ayo Obileye a long-term deal to ward off interest from Premier League clubs, according to reports.

Sheffield Wednesday are believed to be desperate to secure the future of midfield starlet Ayo Obileye.

The 18-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from a number of English clubs, including North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

His current youth deal expires in the summer, but Sky Sports News reports that the Owls are preparing a long-term deal to keep him at Hillsborough.

Southampton, Queens Park Rangers, Stoke City, Aston Villa and Swansea City are rumoured to be among those tracking the teenager.

Obileye made his senior debut in Wednesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Bradford City in August 2011, shortly after being released by Chelsea.
