Glenn Loovens joins Sheffield Wednesday

Championship side Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the arrival of Glenn Loovens.

The 30-year-old has been without a club since he was released by Real Zaragoza in June.

However, following a trial period with the Owls, he has signed a short-term contract at Hillsborough.

The centre-back, who has two caps at senior international level with the Netherlands, could make his debut during tonight's home fixture against Leicester City.
