Sheffield United bring in Ben Davies on loan from Derby County

Sheffield United have signed Ben Davies on loan from Derby County until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old midfielder completed his move this afternoon and has gone straight into the Blades' starting lineup for tonight's League One game against Gillingham.

Davies, who is out of contract in the summer, will link up with former Rams boss Nigel Clough, who brought him to Derby in January 2011 from Notts County.

Davies has made just one appearance for Derby since Steve McClaren took over.
