Half-Time Report: Shaun Brisley header pulls Peterborough United level with Sheffield United

Shaun Brisley's header pulls Peterborough United level 1-1 with Sheffield United at half time in the sides' League One clash at London Road.

Shaun Brisley's header has pulled Peterborough United level 1-1 with Sheffield United at half time in their League One encounter this evening.

London Road was treated to the game's first shot after United's Craig Alcock let fly from distance, only to see his attempt skew just wide of the post.

In a half littered with few chances, Marc McNulty was the provider when he turned in a ball for Jose Baxter, who tucked home into the bottom corner from the centre of the box.

The Blades looked to take the lead into the interval, but Jon Taylor had other ideas as he sent in a perfectly-timed corner, which allowed defender Brisley to guide a header past Mark Howard to make it 1-1.

Posh looked to build from the equaliser just before the half-time whistle, but Kyle Vassell somehow sent his shot straight at Howard, who saved comfortably.
