Report: Atletico Madrid prepare Alvaro Negredo move

Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo could reportedly join Copa del Rey winners Atletico Madrid this summer.

The 27-year-old, who scored 31 goals in 42 games for his club last season, was the subject of a bid from West Ham United earlier in the summer.

Sevilla have thus far repelled interest in the Spaniard, but according to Marca, Atletico are confident of securing his signature before the end of the month.

It is thought that Sevilla value the striker in the region of £18m.
