Unai Emery "disappointed" with draw

Sevilla boss Unai Emery says that his team's 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend "was fair", but admits that he was disappointed with the result.

Sevilla boss Unai Emery has revealed his 'disappointment' at his team's inability to collect all three points from their La Liga clash with Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend.

The Europa League winners needed a late Vicente Iborra strike to secure a share of the spoils after Lucas Perez had opened the scoring in La Coruna.

Emery had no complaints with the 1-1 draw in terms of fairness, but has admitted that not winning left him considering what might have been.

"The draw was fair. We're going away a little disappointed not to get the three points, but Deportivo are strong at home and we have to continue improving both defensively and in the final third," Emery told reporters.

"The only way to correct this draw by is winning our next game, which is at home. Still, there's a lot of the season to go and room for us to finish in the position we want. We'll keep working hard to find more efficiency and clarity in our play."

Sevilla currently sit 10th in the La Liga table, six points off the top four.
