Unai Emery: 'Athletic Bilbao are favourites'

Sevilla boss Unai Emery insists that Athletic Bilbao are the favourites to triumph in the league meeting between the two sides this evening.

Sevilla boss Unai Emery has said that Athletic Bilbao are the favourites to triumph at San Mames this evening

An impressive run of form has moved Emery's side to within three points of the top four ahead of this evening's meeting with Bilbao, who hold the final Champions League position, at San Mames.

"We have fourth place in our hands and we want Athletic out of that position," Emery told Marca.

"Athletic are having a good season and have been strong from the start. At home they have very good form. But Sevilla has also reached the end of the season with the chance of being fourth.

"Playing at home, with the support of their fans, makes Athletic favourites but we are in good shape and we know what's demanded of us. We will enjoy it if we do things well."

Sevilla have won nine of their last 10 league games.
