Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega has targeted a top-four La Liga finish with his new club this season.
The Argentine moved to the Estadio Ramon from Valencia this summer and has thanked his new teammates for helping him settle in Seville.
"I am very happy to be at a big club, working with my teammates, putting myself at the disposal of the coach and working at the same level as the rest of the group," he told AS.
"I'm at a club where everything is very beautiful. My teammates have helped me adapt very quickly. It's a tight-knit group and that's a good basis for the season. This team has a base of several years. Players come and go but the base is maintained. There is a healthy competition.
"Sevilla are a big team fighting for great things. This year we hope to do it in the best way and get into the Champions League positions. We'll try to get as far as possible in all three competitions but it's important to get into the Champions League."
Banega is seen as one of the most naturally gifted midfielders in La Liga, but off-the-field issues have stunted his progress over the last couple of seasons.
