Sevilla see off Mallorca in Copa del Rey

Sevilla have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, despite a 2-1 defeat at home to Mallorca.

Los Rojiblancos defeated their opponents 6-2 on aggregate following a resounding 5-0 triumph in the first leg of their last-16 clash.

The home side took the lead at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan when Manu fired in emphatically from close range on 22 minutes.

Mallorca scored their first goal of the tie with 52 minutes on the clock as Tomer Hemed's shot fell to Brandon, who found the net.

Alfaro's hooked finish soon after gave the visitors some hope, but they were unable to add to their tally.
