Sevilla manager Unai Emery has revealed that he feels his side were lacking "that little bit extra" needed to hold on for a point in their Champions League clash with Manchester City this evening.
Emery's side led the Citizens through Yevhen Konoplyanka's opener before Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony levelled the game after Sergio Rico had failed to deal with Raheem Sterling's effort.
With time running out, Kevin De Bruyne then stole the win for Manuel Pellegrini's team when he struck in injury time.
"We have to keep on brushing up aspects of our game, and we have to remember the things we did well. But this was a great opportunity," Emery told BBC Sport.
"We tried to do a good job here and we were capable of doing it, but we lacked that little bit extra."
Sevilla, who won the Europa League last season, sit in third place in Group D with three points from their opening three games.
