Scotland's World Cup qualifier against Serbia in doubt due to snow

Scotland's Serbia clash in doubt

The World Cup qualifier between Scotland and Serbia has been thrown into doubt due to heavy snow.

Scotland manager Gordon Strachan is due to take charge of his first match on away turf following Friday's 2-1 defeat to Wales at Hampden Park.

The match is due to get underway at 7.30pm UK time in the city of Novi Sad, but the status of the game is being monitored by the Scottish Football Association and the Serbian officials due to the weather.

Scotland are currently at the bottom of Group A with just two points.
