Preview: Scotland vs. USA

Sports Mole previews Friday's friendly between Scotland and the USA at Hampden Park.

Scotland can record three consecutive wins for the first time since 2007 on Friday when they welcome the USA to Hampden Park in a friendly.

Gordon Strachan's side recently finished their unsuccessful World Cup qualifying campaign on a positive note with victories over Macedonia and Croatia.

However, they come up against a USA team that has won 15 out of their last 16 matches.

James Forrest, Chris Burke, James Morrison, Allan McGregor and Shaun Maloney are all sidelined for the hosts, but Gary Mackay-Steven and Craig Conway have both been called up as replacements.

Meanwhile, Robert Snodgrass and Steven Fletcher are likely to be fit after the pair missed training on Tuesday.

Former Rangers duo DaMarcus Beasley and Alejandro Bedoya are in the USA squad, while Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore have also been included by coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
