Miller retires from international football

The Scottish Football Association have announced that striker Kenny Miller has retired from international football.

The 33-year-old ends his stint with Scotland having made 69 caps for his country and recording a goal tally of 18 during his time with the national side.

The forward, who currently plays for MLS side the Vancouver Whitecaps, scored his last goal for Scotland in their friendly 3-2 defeat to England at Wembley earlier this month.

Miller, who began his club career at Hibernian, made his international debut in the Scottish Under-21 side in 2000.
