Five doubtful for Scotland

Scotland manager Craig Levein could be without five of his squad for Tuesday's crucial Euro 2012 qualifier in Spain.

Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan picked up a heel injury during yesterday's 1-0 victory over Liechtenstein, while match-winner Craig Makail-Smith is struggling with a back injury.

Defender Phil Bardsley and midfielder Charlie Adam have also picked up knocks.

Kenny Miller, who missed yesterday's trip, is recovering from a groin injury but still remains a doubt for the match in Alicante.

Scotland must match or better the Czech Republic's result against Lithuania to stand any chance of qualifying for the Championships.
