Schalke 04 agree permanent Dennis Aogo deal

Schalke 04 have agreed a deal to sign Hamburger SV midfielder Dennis Aogo on a permanent basis.

Aogo spent the first half of the season with Schalke, making 16 appearances before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in November.

Despite his injury, Schalke announced on their official website on Sunday that he will join them on a three-year contract.

Schalke general manager Horst Heldt said: "The details are clarified between all involved parties, it only lacks the signatures."

The deal has the option of an extra year if it suits Aogo and the club.
