Qatari club Al Sadd have confirmed the signing of Spanish legend Raul.
The 34-year-old has moved on a free transfer after turning down a new deal with German side Schalke. He has signed a one-year contract with the Middle Eastern side.
The former Spain international earned iconic status during a successful 16-year career with Real Madrid.
After he called an end to his two-year career with Schalke, the Bundesliga team retired their number seven shirt in his honour.
