Rotherham United keeper Scott Loach loaned to Bury

Bury sign goalkeeper Scott Loach on loan until January 17 from Rotherham United.

Scott Loach has joined League Two side Bury on loan until the New Year.

The 26-year-old keeper leaves Championship side Rotherham United, where he has found first-team chances limited since moving to the club from Ipswich Town in the summer.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans told the Millers' website: "It has always been my policy to allow experienced first team players to go out on loan and get first team competitive matches, which in turn gives him every opportunity to come back to the Millers and fight for the shirt whilst fully prepared to do so."

He will stay with the Shakers until January 17, but Rotherham can recall him at 24 hours' notice.

Loach will wear the number 13 for Bury and could make his debut tomorrow night against Tranmere Rovers.
