Burnley's Daniel Lafferty extends Rotherham United loan until end of season

Burnley have announced that Daniel Lafferty will remain on loan at Rotherham United until the end of the season.

The left-back originally agreed a one-month deal with the Championship outfit at the start of March.

However, both clubs have decided to keep Lafferty, who has started four league games so far, at the New York Stadium until May 2.

The 25-year-old will return to Turf Moor for Burnley's final three games of the campaign as they try to secure Premier League survival.
