Team News: Vicente del Bosque names much-changed Spain side in Romania

Much-changed Spain in Romania

Vicente del Bosque has made a total of 10 changes to his Spain starting lineup for tonight's friendly in Cluj-Napoca against Romania.

The only player to keep his place in the XI from Thursday night's draw in Italy is Barcelona's Gerard Pique in the heart of defence.

National captain Iker Casillas is back in goal in place of David de Gea, while at the other end of the field Paco Alcacer leads the line.

It will be Casillas's 166th Roja appearance, equalling the European record for international caps.

Hosts Romania, meanwhile, show seven changes from Wednesday's narrow win over Lithuania, with Fiorentina stopper Ciprian Tatarusanu one of the new faces in the side.

Romania: Tatarusanu; Sapunaru, Chiriches, Grigore, Filip; Pintilii, Hoban; Popa, Stanciu, Stancu; Andone Subs: Lung, Pantilimon, Hora, Ivan, Matel, Ropotan, Tosca, Keseru, Moti, Tanase, Torje, Sanmartean, Rusescu, Gaman

Spain: Casillas; Mario, Pique, Bartra, Alba; Sergi, Koke; Pedro, Silva, Nolito; Alcacer Subs: De Gea, Rico, Azpilicueta, San Jose, Nacho, Juanfran, Mata, Aduriz, Morata, Fabregas, Isco, Thiago
