Roma's Walter Sabatini flies in for Gervinho talks with Arsenal?

Roma director Walter Sabatini has reportedly flown to London to meet Arsenal officials over the transfer of Gervinho.

The Ivorian forward has been a recent target for the Serie A side and Sabatini is in the capital to tie up the deal, according to Calciomercato.com.

New Roma coach Rudi Garcia has previously worked with Gervinho at French side Lille and is keen to bring the player to the Stadio Olimpico.

The 26-year-old scored six goals for the Gunners last season.
