Gervinho signs new Roma deal

Roma have confirmed that striker Gervinho has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.

The Ivory Coast international's new terms at the Stadio Olimpico are due to expire at the end of the 2017-18 season.

The 27-year-old found the net nine times in 33 games for Roma last term following a £6.5m move from Arsenal.

Gervinho has scored one goal in two matches during the current campaign.
