Roma prepare new Daniele De Rossi deal

AS Roma are ready to offer Daniele De Rossi a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 28-year-old's current deal is due to expire in the summer and talks are yet to start between both parties.

Manchester City were recently linked with a move for De Rossi, although manager Roberto Mancini has since played down the speculation.

Roma's fresh offer is thought to include an annual salary of £5m.
