Rudi Garcia has said that a severe case of "draw-itis" is scuppering Roma's Serie A title challenge.
Garcia's side were held to a 1-1 draw with Empoli on Saturday for what was the Giallorossi's sixth stalemate in their last eight league outings.
They sit seven points adrift off leaders Juventus, and the Frenchman admits that his troops are paying the penalty for excessive draws.
"We've got a serious case of 'draw-itis' and we need to sort the issue we have in the first half," he told reporters.
"We're just as disappointed as anyone about our recent run of draws but let's get behind the guys. We'll do our best tomorrow. We've met Fiorentina twice and they're always a quality side.
"To get luck back on our side we need to push even harder from the first whistle. Those who know me will tell you when the going gets tough I just work harder."
Roma have only managed one victory in 2015 - a 1-0 win over Udinese.
