Roma boss Aurelio Andreazzoli admits that he is determined to claim a "double victory" by securing the Coppa Italia title and Europa League qualification with a win over Lazio in the final.

Roma boss Aurelio Andreazzoli has revealed that he is determined to deliver a record tenth Coppa Italia title.

Roma face their fierce rivals Lazio in the final on Sunday, with Europa League qualification also up for grabs.

Andreazzoli has admitted that he wants to enter the history books, but insisted that a loss in the final would not mean that the season was a failure.

"There is a double victory up for grabs, both the cup victory and qualification to the Europa League next term," Andreazzoli told reporters.

"The derby always has special significance. I know I have the opportunity to enter Roma's history books, as not everyone has won their club a 10th Coppa Italia title before.

"Winning would be important, but I do not feel enslaved to a result. If we win it, we would be talking about a glamorous season, but if we lose, we cannot call this season a failure."

A cup final win would give Andreazzoli's bid to become permanent Roma coach a boost, with rumours linking AC Milan's Massimiliano Allegri with the job in the summer.
