Roy Keane confident of Republic of Ireland victory

Roy Keane confident of Ireland victory

Assistant manager Roy Keane has said that Republic of Ireland are determined to beat Scotland in their crucial Euro 2016 qualifier tomorrow.

Scotland sit two points clear of Ireland in Group D, and a win for either side would be a huge step towards qualification.

"The feelgood factor seems to be with Scotland. They've got a lot of momentum and they're getting a lot of plaudits. But when you look at the last game there wasn't much between us," Keane told The Express.

"Scotland are coming here in good spirits – but we need to make sure they're leaving Dublin in bad spirits."

Ireland lost their previous meeting with Scotland 1-0 last November.
